grilled apple/prosciutto,fontina

heres a tasty one for the grill.
2 gala apples cored and cut into rings
lemon juice
8 slices prosciutto
1 cup shredded fontina cheese
fresh ground pepper
preheat grill to medium high. brush apples with lemon juice.
grill 3 minutes per side. place on foil on grill.. top each
apple slice with proscuitto and fontina,
season with pepper .close grill cook 4 minutes until cheese melts
8 servings ---enjoy

recent nyc restaurants

my niece jennifer wyse graduated from columbia with a masters in socia; work, while in NYC tried a few new restaurants
josies on amsterdam ave. nice brunch.
isabellas on columbus ave.  great mediterranean food
les halles park ave south best french breakfast i ever had..

memorial day brunch shitake and asiago strata

2 cups stale bread cubes,4 ounces stemmed shitake mushrooms
thinly sliced, four tablespoons multi herb butter,2 cups heavy cream,3
3 large eggs, 1 cup shredded asiago cheese
preheat oven to 375f. place bread cubes in deep dish pie plate,
top with mushrooms and herb butter, mix cream eggs and cheese
in medium bowl.
pour over bread. let soak refrigerated 3 hours or overnight,
bake for 40 minutes. turn heat up to 425f and bake 5 minutes more
season with salt pepper and serve

 cream of asparagus soup with morels.
rack of lamb w cranberry compote
double cheese potato gratin with caramelized onions.
lemon glazed radishes and shallots
strawberry rhubarb crisp
